A young girl\u2019s dream of pursuing higher education has been reignited, thanks to the RMIT-Maison Chance Opportunity Scholarship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ngo Thi Thuy Trang, adopted and raised by a parent with disabilities, is on a transformative journey at RMIT Vietnam, pursuing a\u00a0Bachelor of Communication (Professional Communication)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Trang\u2019s life story is one of extraordinary resilience. Left by her biological mother when she was just three days old, she was adopted by a loving father who, despite his own physical challenges, has dedicated his life to giving her the best possible upbringing. Working as a tailor at Maison Chance, a social protection centre for individuals with disabilities and orphans, Trang\u2019s father has been her pillar of strength.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

\u201cI do not have a complete family but my adoptive father loves me wholeheartedly and tries his best to raise me,\u201d Trang said filled with emotion and gratitude. This unconditional love has been a driving force in her life, propelling her forward despite the obstacles she faced.<\/p>\n

For Trang, higher education seemed like an impossible dream due to financial constraints. However, the RMIT-Maison Chance Opportunity Scholarship has changed everything.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I heard about the scholarship, my dream of attending university was reignited,\u201d Trang said.<\/p>\n

Her strong academic performance in high school made her an ideal candidate for the scholarship. But it was her spirit of perseverance and commitment to giving back that truly set her apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

\u201cTrang has encountered difficulties due to being abandoned at birth, but she has remained optimistic, living in harmony with others,\u201d a representative from Maison Chance said.<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite unfavourable conditions, she has studied hard and constantly strived.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trang\u2019s choice to study Professional Communication is deeply rooted in her desire to make a difference.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am always grateful for the tremendous support I have received from Maison Chance over the years,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the knowledge and skills I am going to acquire from this degree, I will pay it forward by helping Maison Chance to expand its presence and support more people in need.\u201d<\/p>\n

This commitment to creating impact aligns with RMIT Vietnam\u2019s call earlier this year for young people who aspire to make a positive impact for themselves and their community to apply for RMIT scholarships.<\/p>\n

The moment Trang received the offer from RMIT was one of pure joy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got the news early in the morning and burst with emotion when sharing it with my father,\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n

Trang is excited for the journey ahead, which will begin with a year-long English preparation course to lay a solid foundation for her academic endeavours and future international work.<\/p>\n

For those considering RMIT scholarships, Trang\u2019s advice is simple: \u201cDon\u2019t let your current circumstances limit your dreams. With hard work and the right support, you can overcome any obstacles and create a brighter future for yourself and others\u201d.<\/p>\n

RMIT Vietnam\u2019s commitment to providing opportunities for students like Trang reflects its mission of transforming lives through education. By nurturing talents from diverse backgrounds, the University is not only shaping future professionals but also cultivating compassionate leaders who understand the value of giving back to their communities.<\/p>\n

Trang\u2019s journey from Maison Chance to RMIT Vietnam is more than just a personal triumph, it\u2019s a beacon of hope for many young Vietnamese facing similar challenges.
