I am back home after an important trip to Can Tho for a fundraising event for Maison Chance, on September 16th and 17th, with the MC Thanh Bach and Mrs. Thuy Nga. I feel happy and touched by the guests’ feelings regarding Maison Chance.
All the people there were like members of my family, as if I had somehow always known them. They were loving, caring, cheerful and grateful for the work mother Tim does for the S shaped country (term commonly used by Vietnamese people to talk about their country).

Many aunts, uncles, sisters, artists and prosperous businessmen took the time to come and contribute a small part of their savings to Maison Chance for the construction project of the new social center in Dak Nong. We all spent a good evening together and the fundraising was a success.

As a beneficiary of Maison Chance, I would like to thank everyone for the love and devotion they give to our extended family. After the fundraising event, we all had a fun and relaxing moment in the touristic park My Khanh. The air was nice and fresh, people were happy and amused by the pig races, the dog races and the funny monkeys’ circus show.

The food there was so delicious that when you’ve tasted it once, you remember it forever. After the sightseeing of the park, we all hopped on the bus and said goodbye to the beautiful city of Can Tho to return to Saigon.
This journey will stay in my memory forever. Thank you so much!
