The full moon on the new social center

Mid-Autumn Festival is the second-biggest traditional festival in Vietnam after Tet, the Vietnamese lunar new year. According to the lunar calendar, it is celebrated on the evening of the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, which may vary according to the years around September (or early October) on the Gregorian calendar. The 15th night of the lunar calendar is a full moon night. It is also the day when the moon is the most beautiful, the fullest and the brightest in the year.

All the children of Dak Nong participated in the festival either through dances or concerts. For them it is a very important event not only because they contribute to the show but they also receive gifts. It is also the first time that most of them have participated in a party with so much joy and gifts. They are all very happy with their performance which has filled them with pride.

This event was organized for the first time at the Daknong Social Center by its management committee, MC Thanh Bach and his friends. We thank MC Thanh Bach and the organizers warmly for their contribution with the bamboo dances, the prestidigitations and the recyclable material fashion show. The children’s smile will be even more beautiful.

Of course, the success of this festival is first and foremost for all the teachers who patiently taught the children the choreographies and music that delighted us.

We thank them all very much for this great success.
