The visit of CanCham Vietnam and VASchools to Maison Chance

Last May, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CanCham) and the Vietnamese-American school system VASchool paid a visit to Maison Chance to offer precious gifts comprising rice, clothes, notebooks, soft toys. Representatives of the two organizations also spent time learning about the history of Maison Chance and its education, training and health care activities for people with disabilities and disadvantaged children.

After visiting professional workshops and examining artisanal and agricultural products produced by the social enterprise of Maison Chance, Ms. Vuong Thu Nguyet, executive director of CanCham proposed to connect Maison Chance to Canadian companies that need to import these products, thus helping to resolve the market issue for Maison Chance’s social enterprise.

As for the teachers of VASchool, they also visited the Chance Village and offered gifts to the children to wish them a happy children’s day. These gifts are carefully prepared by the students of VASchool. An significant action to teach compassion and sharing to children.
